MTM: Patty hands out VODKA

It's LABOR day!
Which means only one thing.
Me and my BLL have a date today... tonight... all day.

We are heading over to my parents house for some mm mmm good food, drinks, and company.

Hope you all have a wonderful labor day with your loved ones!!

----
In the meantime

I have my sidekick here, Patty, taking over my blog.

Why? Because she can. And? She's pretty much the shizz around the blog world, and twitter.

If I'm having a bad day, or just not the best of moods, I can read something that that mama wrote and I will just start dying from laughter.

She gets me each and every time.

I'd pretty much marry her if I was a lesbian.

And one day? We will meet, and our girls will be BFF... fo life.

But for now? I'll suck it up and share her with all of you fabulous readers!!!

Name: Patty Ann
Age: 29. And outed just like that.
Number of kiddos: 1 human baby, 2 fur babies
Names (and meaning): I named Lily after the flower, to give her a simple but graceful name and I gave her my middle name, Ann, because..well just because I could. Oh, and those fur babies? Jojo & Broozer.
Age of kiddos: Just about 10 months
Number of desired kiddos: This number changes daily. Today it's 3.
Natural {epidural?} or C-Section: Scheduled C-section due to the little lady positioning herself breech and refusing to budge.
Breast,Formula,or both: Breast, with the occasional formula supplement.
Cloth or Regular: Regular, though I will try cloth one of these days!
SAHM or Work {doing what}: SAHM Something that many people don't know about you: I am an, let's just say 'extra-cautious' person, constantly looking over my shoulder, making sure I'm not about to be followed home or kidnapped.  I know. This is strange. I even park my car with the driver side facing the store so that if somebody does try to kill me, the security cameras will catch it. Okay, I'll stop now.

How do you get your baby on a schedule? CONSISTENCY. And adjusting your schedule to that as well. Having your baby's day structured from the time she wakes up until the minute she falls asleep is key. In time, your baby will know what to expect and transition from meal time to play time to sleep time very smoothly. I attribute my baby's ability to sleep through the night to having her on a schedule. Do I believe in the cry it out method? Well, I believe that some people think it has worked for them, but I could not bring myself to do it. I tried for all of three minutes and then decided that strategy was just not for me. For those who don't want to use CIO really research different ways. So many think this is the only way to get their baby to sleep and it's not! My favorite resource for moms? OTHER MOMS! You could read every book that people throw at you, but really the best information and advice has been from other moms that have been through it in real life.

Here is me at nine months preggy:

My Lily lady:

I racked my brain for the perfect quote, image, something that always makes me smile and, besides my Lily lady, nothing makes me smile more...
