I literally stalked her blog throughout my pregnancy, and was on the edge of my seat as she neared the end. Her birth story is absolutely amazing.
Since then we have gotten pretty close and are convinced our little babes are going to be BFFs. I am sure we will meet one.day. Oh and did I mention that our husbands share the same exact name? Oh yeah. They have many similarities as well. As do Jody and I.... mainly the fact that we are both the dominant ones. Hehe. {although they like to think otherwise}.
Thanks Jody for featuring on my blog! I love you and K to pieces!

Something that many people don't know about you: Many people know that I met my husband in College, which is true, but what most people don’t know is that the class that I met him in was Hunter’s Safety Class(I don’t hunt). I was taking the class to stay on my mom’s insurance the fall after I graduated from college and he was also in the class. My bestfriend(who was also in the class) introduced us and we flirted, I out-shot him on the shooting range and the rest was history haha.

How was the first time you left your baby overnight?
The first time I left Kennedy overnight was terrible, for more than one reason. The first time was when she was only 2 months old. I came down with the stomach flu and it was in her best interest to be as far away from me as she could. My husband was feeling down as well and I really wanted to keep her as healthy as we could so my mom took her overnight. When she came to get her I cried, and then was preoccupied with being sick for ohhh say about 10 minutes & then I cried some more. Once they got to my parents’ house we skyped so that I could see her but that just made it worse. As much as I hated it while it was going on, I very much stand by my decision because she did not get sick at all. Each time since then has been a little easier and let me just say that my dear husband requests some ahem.. alone time so she does have sleep-overs with my parents. Good thing they only live 10-15 minutes away!
Show me your 9 month Prego picture (or your last prego pic before birth):

I've yet to leave my baby overnight...and dreading it. I just have not had the opportunity because we live hours away from family and close friends. I wish I had done it already, the longer I wait the harder it's getting for me to want to!
Adorable little girlie! And yes, it is always hard to leave the littles but OH SO WORTH IT to have some alone time with the husband. I am blessed the in laws live 10 mins away.
Btw, LOVE the name Kennedy. We have a president theme going on over here. Already have Reagan & Jackson. Kennedy would be a good addition ;)

Gahhh.. It freaks me out to think about leaving E overnight somewhere and she is 11 months....
We left our son with my MIL for 3 days when he was 5 months...it was hard but hubby and I needed our alone time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It helped that she came over to watch him at our place. But I don't ever want to leave him again! :)
