Well, it's been a long time coming,
The standing up on all fours. The rocking back and fourth. The backwards crawling. The whiney whiney booo hoo "mama I want to crawl" look. Yep. We went through all that.... just to get to this.
The real crawling.
Sure. She may be slow right now. A bit wobbly. Still confused. More in common with the drunks.
But she will get it. In time.
Here is proof. Documentation. Elliana Valery took her first real crawl 1 day before her 8 month bday (crawl taken 7/7/11). Wooo to the hooo.
And now it's time to figure out how to baby proof this house without baby proofing the house. Aren't my eyes enough? I mean really... locking cabinets will mean I will become frustrated and break something {anger management anyone?!}.
Also, someone give this chick a sleeping pill. Post written at 3:12 am. {I am sure to be getting a phone call from mommy dearest sometime today...."beeeeckkkyyy." } Blah blah blah. Sigh.

YAY good job Elli! I was also awake at 3:15am with my 7 month old who thought it was time to be awake!! she's teething.

I like to walk up to moms in the grocery store, or a restaurant and say, "I'll take that baby if you're done with it". just to see the looks on their faces. I'm always smiling when I say it so they know I'm not a kidnapper or something. And I'd definitely say that to you about this "puddin face". I LOVE babies.
